A company from the Rosnano structure has been declared bankrupt.
The bankruptcy procedure for the Novosibirsk company Liotech-Innovations has entered the final stage. The Arbitration Court of the region declared the company bankrupt and opened bankruptcy proceedings. This means that the management passes to the bankruptcy trustee and the sale of the company's property begins in order to satisfy the requirements of creditors. Upon completion of bankruptcy proceedings, the legal entity will be liquidated. It remains possible to move to the stage of external management and save the enterprise, but such cases are rare.
Liotech-Innovation found itself in debt in the amount of about half a billion rubles; at the end of 2021, the company announced its inability to repay them.
The company was managed by Liteko LLC, it is its beneficiary with a 100% share. With the same firm, the Liotech-Innovations enterprise entered into a lease agreement for production facilities at the Novosibirsk plant, which is managed by Energoresheniye LLC. In recent years, production was based there.
LLC "Liteko" itself was also declared bankrupt, bankruptcy proceedings were introduced against it a month earlier. Its accounts payable is more than 315 million rubles. The Liteco company is a subsidiary of Rusnano, the corporation owns a 99.99% stake.
The main creditor of Liotech-Innovation is Liteco, and other former partners also appear in the register, for example, the manager of a plant in Novosibirsk - Energoresheniye LLC.
Liotech is a unique enterprise, the largest manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries (this is the most popular type of batteries for laptops, video cameras, cell phones, digital cameras) and the only one in Russia. The company was founded in 2011 jointly by Rosnano and the Chinese corporation Thunder Sky Group, which withdrew from the project in 2013. About 15 billion rubles were invested in the enterprise, although the plant began to work, it never reached the planned capacity, and since 2016 it has been constantly on the verge of bankruptcy.
In 2019, an agreement was reached with creditors, which made it possible to hope for the preservation of the enterprise, but in 2022, the bankruptcy procedure was resumed at Liteco's own application.
