CIAN, one of the largest Russian real estate advertising services, has begun preparations for entering the stock exchange, Kommersant reports.

Initially, Cyan was just an Excel file in which the founder of the company, Dmitry Demin, accumulated information about the apartments for sale. Then they created a website, and over time, through numerous mergers and acquisitions, the project grew into a platform with an audience of 21 million users and a database of about 3 million ads.

The company may hold an IPO in 2022. Now the market appreciates such services, but the growing competition from Avito and other companies can become a problem. This was announced by one of the main shareholders of the service Dmitry Kryukov. In his opinion, in the near future the asset can be valued at more than $1 billion.
