Zemfira Ramazanova filed a lawsuit against the writer Yevgeny Grishkovets for the protection of honor and dignity. The singer demands to recover 1.5 million rubles from the defendant as compensation for non-pecuniary damage. The reason was the statement of Grishkovets on the air of the Dozhd TV channel. During the broadcast of "Bee Koz" on May 27, the writer, being a guest, in response to a question from the presenter, allowed himself ambiguous critical statements about the singer's latest album, called "Borderline", and about her work in general. In particular, Grishkovets called her songs, literally, "drug addicts", and Zemfira herself "drug addict".
Ramazanova in the lawsuit indicated that such statements had a negative impact on her reputation and the attitude of even people from her inner circle towards her. The spread of such an assessment of her work raised questions from relatives, friends and admirers. The singer was forced to justify herself even to strangers, which caused her physical and moral suffering. Zemfira considered that such a statement was discrediting.
In this connection, the singer puts forward in her lawsuit a demand to oblige Grishkovets to refute the information he spread on the air of the same TV channel, along with compensation for non-pecuniary damage.
Grishkovets has already stated that he regrets his thoughtless words, which were said spontaneously. The writer confirmed that he was ready to apologize to Zemfira. It is noteworthy that Eugene admitted in an interview with the YouTube channel that he had tried marijuana several times. In the lawsuit, Zemfira substantiates her claims, in particular, by the fact that there is no reliable data on her drug addiction.
Initially, the lawsuit was filed by the singer in June with a court of general jurisdiction in Kaliningrad at the place of residence of Grishkovets, but was returned by the court. Now Zemfira Ramazanova has decided to present it in Moscow.
