With regard to the Novosibirsk garbage operator LLC Ecology-Novosibirsk, surveillance was introduced. Is it possible to restore solvency?
Bankruptcy proceedings have been introduced in relation to Ecology-Novosibirsk LLC, which is part of the VIS group. The Company is a regional operator for municipal solid waste management in the Novosibirsk region. However, representatives of the group claim that the operator is able to work smoothly and fulfill all its obligations.
Actually, the procedure was introduced by the decision of the members of the company themselves in order to stabilize the financial situation and ensure the timely collection and removal of waste. This is the main task of introducing a procedure that involves analyzing financial opportunities, compiling a register of creditors, developing a plan for restoring normal activities with the participation of an "anti-crisis manager" - an interim manager appointed by the arbitration court. Also, monitoring will allow fulfilling current obligations to pay salaries to employees, pay utility bills for carriers, and maintain infrastructure in working order.
The VIS Group is a Russian holding company included in the list of backbone companies in the Russian Federation. The holding is engaged in infrastructure, one of the main tasks of its activity is the development of cooperation between the state and business within the framework of public-private partnership.
VIS General Director Dmitry Doev officially announced that the group intends to improve the operator's activities and will do everything possible to restore its solvency.
However, backstage information is not so optimistic. There is evidence that Andrey Travnikov, the governor of the Novosibirsk Region, learned about the introduction of surveillance from the media, had already had an uncomfortable conversation about this with the owners of VIS, and also summoned Larisa Anisimova, general director of Ecology-Novosibirsk LLC, to provide a report on situations. There was also information that the operator has substantial debts (up to a billion rubles), which will have to be paid off within the framework of the procedure for up to three years. But the debt of consumers is significantly overestimated, instead of 1.5 billion rubles, it is estimated at only 750 million, that is, two times less than the originally announced figures. Due to the bankruptcy on the initiative of the debtor, the implementation of the settlement agreement with MUP "Spetsavtokhozyaystvo" will most likely be postponed, and the operator recognized multimillion-dollar debts under it.
