The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia will provide businesses with expanded access to the "Honest Sign". What is such support in the case of the "Honest Sign" system. Tasks of providing extended information to the marking system.
From July this year, business representatives will be provided with expanded access to the national marking system "Honest Sign". Access to the database will be provided to both manufacturers and importers.
This was first stated by Sergey Kholkin, who holds the post of deputy director of the "Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies", created specifically for the implementation of global projects and forming their technological infrastructure, including the one responsible for the operation of the "Honest Sign" system. The message was also published on the official website of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
The purpose of this decision is to provide support to market participants in the face of the imposition of sanctions, disruption of supply chains and loss of former partners. The current situation in the economy requires the state to provide assistance to representatives of enterprises, especially burdened with additional obligations.
What is such support in the case of the "Honest Sign" system:
extended information about the goods will appear in your personal account;
it will include data on their status and current owner;
in addition, it will be additionally possible to find out information about points of sale and average prices prevailing in the regions.
First of all, such information will be available to manufacturers and importers of tobacco products, dairy products, perfumes, cameras, footwear and clothing, tires.
The tasks of providing extended information to the marking system (based on Holkin's message):
providing information about sales chains, they will become transparent;
providing the ability to track prices for goods, control sales;
providing the opportunity to calculate the speed of turnover of goods based on the analysis of information received from the personal account;
automation of the tracking process, due to which the influence of the human factor will be excluded.
Analysis and calculation can be made for each type of product. It is expected that as a result, producers who are required to label their goods will be able to strengthen their market positions by choosing the most effective distribution channels.
Labeling has been phased in since 2019, and it imposes additional obligations on manufacturers and importers, involves additional costs for equipment and the implementation of the labeling process. Obtaining extended information should justify all these costs.
